Interiors has been in continuous operation in the beautiful Big Bear Valley

|Fishing, water-skiing, personal
watercraft use, sailing and
para-sailing are enjoyed during the
spring, summer and fall, as well as
relaxing lake tours on a
paddle-boat replica, and even a
pirate ship! Several commercial
marinas around the lake offer boat
rentals, boat tours, and even charter
fishing guide service.
|Surrounded on all sides by the San Bernardino National Forest, the Big Bear Valley also
offers miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and an assortment of camp grounds.
In addition, Big Bear boasts one of the few alpine golf courses in the state –
the Big Bear Mountain Golf Course. The 9-hole, par 36 course is located at the base
of the ski area and is open May through October. The Big Bear Discovery Center,
Alpine Zoo, and Big Bear Historical Museum are also conveniently located for an

After the snow flies, national-level ski
and snowboard competitions abound at
Big Bear Mountain Resorts, including
USASA sanctioned events. In the
summer, mountain biking events head
for the hills and several world-class

|Throughout the year, the Community
Arts Theatre Society (CATS) presents
outstanding local productions at their
theatre venue in Big Bear City.
The 389 seat, state-of-the-art
Performing Arts Center in the Big Bear
Lake City Hall building hosts various
music and theatre shows throughoutt
the year, as well as the Miss Big Bear
Pageant in the Fall.
|With amazing scenery and variety of recreational and entertainment
opportunities, it is no wonder Big Bear Lake attracts hundreds of thousands of
visitors a year to its campgrounds, lodges and hotels, and private home rentals.
The Valley is also the premiere second-home location for Southern California, with
the choice in properties ranging from Cabins to Castles. Whether your taste runs
to a quaint cabin near the forest, a condo near the slopes or a magnificent
lakefront log home, there is something for everyone.
|Big Bear’s ‘small town’ atmosphere and friendly folks are a big part of its appeal,
but there is no shortage of all the necessities and conveniences.
Shopping of all types is available just minutes from anywhere in the Valley,
from Mom-n-Pop stores to major supermarkets and national names,
to the many unique shops in The Village.
